What is a lead magnet?
A lead magnet is a free download, resource, or series of emails used to attract potential customers in exchange for their email address. The general aim of a lead magnet is to capture potential customers who aren’t ready to buy yet with a freebie. Then, over the course of a few weeks, you’ll send emails that warm them up and encourage them to buy.
However, putting one of these together for your brand takes a lot of time, knowledge, and skill. That’s where I come in.
What you’ll get
For a lead magnet to work effectively, it needs to contain all of the following. I will create each and every part of this formula for you.
Keyword research and idea proposal
As well as capturing existing people coming to your website, you’ll want your lead magnet to increase traffic to your website via a landing page. I will research the best terms to use and propose a lead magnet idea to you.
Lead magnet landing page copy
I will draft the copy for your lead magnet landing page to ensure it has the best chance possible of ranking on search. If needed, I can provide mockup images you can use within this page.
The lead magnet itself
I will create the lead magnet itself. This could be anything from an editable PDF to a spreadsheet tool or a series of emails.
Call to action copy
To encourage site visitors to sign up, I will create copy you can use to create call-to-actions and add them to your existing blog posts.
Email series copy
When someone signs up for your lead magnet, they’ll then be sent a short series of emails. I will write the copy for these.
Optional implementation
I can build and format your landing page directly in WordPress (or your CMS of choice) if you provide access. This includes optimizing using your SEO plugin or tool of choice. I can also create an automation flow in your email program of choice. Both of these are extras.
