I create strategic, long-form blog posts for WordPress plugin and SaaS products. Written to rank in search, get picked up by ChatGPT, Claude, and actually convert.
Most blogs in the WordPress plugin and SaaS space are either neglected or full of posts that never quite convert. Meanwhile, your potential customers are searching for solutions on Google and increasingly asking ChatGPT and Claude for recommendations.
Well-written, genuinely useful blog content still works. Businesses that publish consistently generate 13 times more leads than those that don’t, and companies with active blogs generate 55% more website visits than those without. Fewer than a third of B2B companies bother to maintain one.
Things are changing, though. Generic, surface-level posts are getting filtered out. What works now is content that genuinely helps people, written by someone who understands your product.
You’ll be working with someone who has:
“Gina is brilliant, dependable, and truly exceptional at what she does. She elevates product storytelling, handles content marketing with confidence and autonomy, and consistently delivers work that exceeds expectations. She has been a tremendous asset to Iconic and to our team as a whole, and any organization would be fortunate to work with her.”

SVP Liquid Web, General Manager of StellarWP
Each post is built to be genuinely useful for your customers and structured for search visibility and conversions:

I look at monthly search volume, keyword intent, and give you some title options so we’re on the same page before I start writing.

My articles are around 2,000 to 3,500 words and are written in your brand voice. These articles are in-depth, useful, and structured to convert.

I write my articles in a way that gives them the best chance possible of ranking in search, as well as being picked up by AI tools. This strategy is always changing, and I am always up to date.

I source quality images for my articles and produce my own screenshots using your product demo. These are sized for your blog and, if the post calls for it, styled to fit in with your brand.

I upload my articles into your site for you and I optimise them using whichever SEO plugin or tool you have in place. This includes internal linking, formatting, and adding images.

Final post reviewed and ready to publish with everything in place. I mark my posts as pending in WordPress, so you can publish whenever you like.
Here’s a selection of posts I’ve written. What these posts show is range, depth, and a genuine understanding of the products I write about.
Client: Ollie
Mike McAlister described the Ollie blog as an afterthought before we started working together. Flat and underused despite his product’s quality. This post was part of changing that: a guide designed to position Ollie as the go-to resource for block themes at a time when the topic was still finding its audience.
Client: Simply Static
Currently ranking for over 150 keywords, with 46 in the top three positions on Google, bringing in around 230 organic visits per month.
Client: Simply Static
Another strong performer for Simply Static, currently pulling around 270 organic visits per month with 21 keywords in the top three positions.
Client: Studio Wombat
This is a detailed guide on WooCommerce product lists, with custom screenshots styled to match the Studio Wombat brand. Every image was created to feel like a natural part of the post, giving it a more polished finish than most plugin tutorials have.
Client: Liquid Web
This was an update to an existing post. I refreshed the older content with a better structure, updated (and factual) information, and better SEO. It’s currently ranking for 3 keywords in the top 3 positions and around 25 in positions 4-10, with roughly 49 organic visits per month and growing.
Client: Orderable
A buying-intent post targeting small business owners researching how to add online ordering to their site. At its peak, it pulled in over 1,000 organic visits per month, with 75 keywords ranking in the top 3 positions on Google.
“When I stepped in to support the Iconic and Orderable brands, Gina was already leading the content efforts, and it was immediately clear why her work made such a strong impact. She produced high quality content across every medium we needed, and she did it with impressive efficiency that kept everything moving forward.
A great example was when I identified that Iconic had strong revenue driving traffic from ChatGPT while Orderable did not. She instantly had ideas, a clear plan, and the initiative to put everything into motion. She executed quickly with solid technical skills on the site, communicated consistently throughout the process, and the results spoke for themselves.
Working with Gina was easy, fast, and genuinely productive. That mix of speed, quality, and dependable collaboration is hard to find in content marketing.
If someone asked whether they should hire Gina, I would say yes without hesitation. She makes your content operation stronger and far easier to be part of.”

Matt Cromwell
Former Senior Director of Customer Experience for StellarWP
“Gina is an absolute pleasure to work with. She not only is a superbly talented writer and communicator – she understands the why behind her writing, and how it gets our business closer to where we need it to be.
Creating and maintaining a relevant and productive content workflow is a challenge for businesses of any size – but Gina makes it feel effortless. Her work has been the primary driver of growth behind all of our ecommerce products. Not only is she able to grasp and explain highly technical concepts to a mass market, she’s able to do it in a way that’s personable and actionable.
I would HIGHLY recommend Gina to a business of any size. She will absolutely make your life easier, move your business forward, and be a delight to work with along the way.”

Director of Outbound Marketing at StellarWP
“I was finding it difficult to find authors who can write good articles and have a basic understanding of security, activity logs and the subjects we deal with. Most authors we tried in the past never even bothered trying the plugin, and only focused on traditional content. Gina, however, has a good understanding of our plugins, really good writing skills(way better than most people I worked with), and always delivers work on time. We can now publish regular quality content and be consistent which is a blessing.”

Robert Abela
Founder of Melapress
“I never had enough time to create content myself, I’m always busy with the technical stuff, creating new features/plugins. Now that I’m in good hands, I can focus on what I love to do, development! It’s been a pleasure working with Gina. She’s very professional and a great writer! I’m stunned that she was able to cover all the basic technical stuff without any documentation available. I’m looking forward to a long business relationship. Looking for a professional content marketer? Look no further, she is the best at what she does, you won’t regret it!”

Georges Haddad
Founder of Xploded Themes
“We began working with Gina when we acquired Iconic, and she immediately stood out as one of the strongest parts of that transition. Iconic already relied heavily on her content marketing work, and it was clear why. Before bringing her into our broader organization, we often struggled to produce consistent, polished content that truly reflected the quality of the product. Gina didn’t just fill that gap for Iconic, she set a standard for what excellent product-focused content could look like.
Gina’s work is exceptional across formats. Her video tutorials, feature walkthroughs, and written content are consistently clear, engaging, and deeply aligned with customer needs. She learns fast, understands the products at a technical level, and brings a level of craft that elevates everything she creates. She also works with remarkable independence. With minimal direction, she delivers work that feels tailor-made to our goals and often anticipates what we need before we ask.
Working with Gina is effortless. She is organized, reliable, and communicates clearly. She brings both creativity and strategic thinking to every project, and she does so without requiring extensive briefs or oversight. She is an ideal remote collaborator because she understands context quickly and always moves the work forward.
Gina is brilliant, dependable, and truly exceptional at what she does. She elevates product storytelling, handles content marketing with confidence and autonomy, and consistently delivers work that exceeds expectations. She has been a tremendous asset to Iconic and to our team as a whole, and any organization would be fortunate to work with her.

“As a Solopreneur, delivering the best quality in all areas of my business is impossible. I struggled with consistently publishing new articles on my blog and keeping everything up to date. That resulted in outdated tutorials, incomplete and hard-to-read documentation, and due to that, an increased support volume.
I finally found someone who can handle my entire content strategy – from brainstorming new article ideas and publishing new posts regularly to updating older content, improving the documentation, and even optimizing the copy of my landing pages.
While I appreciate saving time on content-related tasks, the main benefit for me is the overall quality improvement of my business due to Gina’s work. Gina always delivers on time, and she is a great communicator. I always know what’s going on, what coming next, and what is expected from me (and when).
I highly recommend Gina to everyone who wants to get serious about content marketing for their project. Gina isn’t someone that only writes blog posts. She will ask about your audience, your product, or where you see your business in the future to shape a strategy that fits in perfectly.”

Patrick Posner
Founder of Simply Static
“I needed someone to take over the marketing for Iconic so I could focus on running the business rather than producing content. I have my time back now and can ensure the business is running smoothly. Gina provides well-written content and detailed reports of our marketing efforts. Working with Gina is great. She always delivers high-quality work and keeps you in the loop throughout the process. It’s always on time. If you need to overhaul your marketing, hire Gina! Her service is outstanding and she’s also multi-talented. Don’t hesitate.”

James Kemp
Founder of IconicWP (Now Core Product Manager for WooCommerce)
“Before working with Gina, our blog was an afterthought. We knew content mattered for Ollie, but between building the product and everything else on my plate, the blog never got the consistent attention it deserved. It felt flat and underused.
Since then, she’s completely elevated it. The quality and attention to detail she brings have brought the Ollie blog to life. It finally reflects the care we put into the rest of the product.
What truly sets Gina apart is her deep understanding and hands-on experience with WordPress and WooCommerce. This expertise means I never have to spend time bringing her up to speed on key concepts — she just gets it.
Working with her has been a pleasure. She’s super attentive, easy to communicate with, and consistently delivers great work on time. I never had to chase anything or second-guess the quality.
If you want great work done well and delivered on time, Gina is the person for it.

Mike McAlister
Founder of Ollie
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Gina for the past four years across several product brands, and her contributions have been truly invaluable. Preparing, executing, and reporting on go-to-market content plans can be time-consuming and daunting, but Gina makes it look effortless.
Gina is a highly skilled writer who can clearly communicate both the problem → solution narrative and complex technical concepts to new and existing customers alike. Beyond her work in content marketing, she’s made a significant impact on our user-facing documentation and helped make our websites more SEO- and AI-friendly.
What truly sets Gina apart is her deep understanding and hands-on experience with WordPress and WooCommerce. This expertise means I never have to spend time bringing her up to speed on key concepts — she just gets it.
Working with Gina is a joy. She’s organised, reliable, and consistently meets deadlines, but she also brings strategic thinking and creative ideation to every project. She’s fully invested in the process and always right there with you on the journey.
Getting Gina involved in your product content marketing is one of the best decisions you can make — you’ll quickly see the difference she makes!”

PO for SolidWP, Iconic, Orderable
“I needed someone who would just ‘get it’ and write an article in a similar way that I would have done so myself. I also needed someone who could add extra value to articles by doing SEO research, suggesting new content ideas, and putting their own stamp on articles instead of just following the brief blindly.
I love the fact that I can send an article outline to Gina and know that she will produce a piece of quality content that will require almost no input from me before it can be published. As a company owner, this saves me a lot of time compared to a lot of copywriters where I end up rewriting much of the article to get it to a standard that I’m happy with. With Gina’s work, I can quickly skim the article and know that it will be right without having to spend hours checking every detail.
Gina is highly professional to work with at all times. She provides clear information about her availability and pricing, keeps me up to date with progress, and always meets her deadlines.
I would recommend Gina as a professional and reliable copywriter who always works to a high standard. If you need a WordPress copywriter, then Gina is the person to contact!”

I do keyword research focused on buying intent, search volume, and relevance to your product. You’ll get a list of options, including title ideas and rationale, before writing begins, so we’re on the same page from the start.
That’s fine. I can work from your brief or keyword list, or adjust it to make sure we’re targeting something worth going after. I also write posts without a specific keyword target where they serve your audience.
Yes. Updates are priced separately and include content refreshes, SEO re-optimisation, and improved structure. The price depends on how much work the existing post needs.
Yes. If you need regular monthly posts or want to combine blog content with other work, I can put together a package that suits you.
I take the time to understand how your plugin works through your docs, demos, or direct access if needed. I also check feature details, terminology, and more. Basically, I get to know your plugin before I start.
